I have making paper mache Santas for 30 years! Each one is individually shaped by hand, sometimes within a container or on an armature base. Several layers of clay application occurs, several weeks of drying, then the sealing, painting, staining and aging occurs, and lastly the embellishing! It is a labor of love and I do love making them. Each one is unique and one of a kind. Meant to be an heirloom treasure.
