I have been making paper mache holiday folk art characters for 30 years! Each one is individually shaped by hand, sometimes within a container or on an armature base. Several layers of clay application occurs, several weeks of drying, then the sealing, painting, staining and aging occurs. It is a labor of love and I do love making them.
